This page explains how to delete your account in Rootle, the calorie and nutrition tracking app made by The Burrow Co, and what happens to your data when you do. You can delete your account from inside the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed. To keep your account and delete only some of your data, see Delete some of your Rootle data.
Deletion happens straight away, and you'll be signed out. If you signed in with Apple, you'll be asked to confirm with Apple once more so we can also revoke Rootle's access to your Apple ID.
Email support@theburrow.co from the email address you use to sign in to Rootle, with the subject "Delete my Rootle account". If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, send it from the Apple ID email that relay forwards to, or tell us the relay address. We match the request to your account's email address, and we may ask you to confirm from that address before we delete anything. We'll confirm when the deletion is done, within 45 days of your request at the latest.
